We, the Americans of African descent class members of the Class of 1972 are the vestiges, the final freshman of a segregated era for public education in America's society, the last freshman to emerge from the halls of Dillard High School in Goldsboro, North Carolina who graduated from the integrated Goldsboro High School.
In spite of our initial societal adversity we've preserverred to become Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Educators, Clergies and many other fields that extend to various levels of productive contributions to the fabric of this country and to the world.
It is our intent to leave a legacy of support and motivation for those that have and will follow, a positive example of humanity of what must surely be God's intent for mankind. We, the remaining few classmates, feel that it is imperative that we create a doorway and a path for ALL who seek knowledge, hope and inclusion.
ALL are welcomed here regardless of color, race, and or religion. Join us as we strive to restore honor and respect to our nation as a people and as we work to make the world a better place to live.
